I visited Steve Clarke car after seeing an advert on eBay, Spence the salesman met me and showed me around the car (John Cooper Works Mini) then took me out for a drive .Spence was not your typical pushy salesman but was honest and laid back no pressure at all .I secured the car with a very modest deposit and went home to sort my finances . I looked on eBay the same day and Steve Clarke cars had taken the car off their advert which made me feel very secure knowing the car wasn’t being advertised as for sale .

Visited Steve Clarke Garages to view a Mercedes Benz SLK. We found Spence open, honest and respectful. The car was in very good condition and detailed accurately on the service/inspection sheet. I would say it is ‘perfect’, but I’m a potential buyer! Spence took me for a reasonable test drive where I was given the opportunity to drive the car, which performed perfectly. However, with regret, I didn’t buy the car simply because it was an automatic which didn’t suit my style of driving. I’m pleased to say Spence and I had a very good conversation and he fully understood my position.

just bought our second car from Steve Clarke even though we had to travel 56 miles each way. I would highly recommend this car dealer for there service and friendliness.

I had my vw polo serviced and m o t and cannot fault Simon for the way it was carried out with nothing too much trouble for service staff. The whole department is a credit to Steve.

Just wanted to say how amazing Andy and the team have been. Booked my car in for a full service Simon picked up my car early in the morning and within a couple hours Andy rang to let me know what needed doing to the car before undertaking any work. I was expecting the car to be brought back the next day as there was quite a lot that needed doing. Andy rang again later that day to let me know the work was all done and was actually going to cost me less than first thought. The car was then brought back to me looking lovely and clean, both inside and out.

Thanks steve, you’re a gentleman and it was the best deal I have ever got. The ease of transaction was the best. Thanks again for picking me up at airport, you went the extra mile on this deal the drive back to Scotland was a dream, George.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for the great work on the braking system of my Honda Accord. After suffering with brake malfunction and having some initial work done by another garage to rectify it, I thought I’d try your workshop on Water Lane. I often cycle past on the way to work in the morning and am always impressed by the look of the clean and tidy workshop. I’m very glad that I did. I took advantage of your on-line booking service and Andy was very prompt at replying first thing the next day.
